This exceptional "Deux Chevaux" has been gone through front to back, inside and out. Her long term owner purchased in 1985 as a gift to his wife who was a French teacher in San Francisco, she commuted daily in the car and enjoyed it so much that her husband decided to improve on everything to allow it to be a daily driver, safe, reliable, and fun to drive.

Starting with the mechanicals, the little car had her engine and transmission upgraded to a later version moving from 425cc (12hp) to 602cc (29hp) and 4 speeds as well, making the car safe to drive on the freeway as well as around town as the hp gains allowed her to easily cruise at 70 plus mph. Next, she was disassembled and taken down to the bare shell, all body components were removed, inspected, replaced as necessary and put back together better than before. The materials chosen to rebuild her were the best available, Mercedes Benz paint and interior materials were chosen to make the car more durable and comfortable, no expense was spared.

This car is ready to be driven as her past owner is too old to enjoy any longer.
