We're pleased to welcome this 77k original mile 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Air to our showroom. It has been restored to it's original configuration - Matador Red/India Ivory over a Black/Ivory interior. The engine is original. Known as the 'Super Turbo-Fire' 265 cubic inch V8, which was all new for '56. The Super Turbo-Fire was an upgrade over the standard 'Turbo Fire' V8. It has a higher 9.25:1 compression ratio for more power - 205hp. The dual exhaust system is the easiest way to spot this engine. The transmission is the venerable and reliable automatic Powerglide. This car was lovingly cared for by each owner prior to and after restoration. We think it would be a great compliment to any Mid-Century American car collection and it is suitable to show or drive as-is.
