1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible

There are few cars as emblematic of 1950s America as a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air. This '55 Convertible represents the peak of the Bel-Air line. This car is presented in Turquoise and White two tone paint over a matching Turquoise and White interior. It was restored from the frame up by a local San Carlos enthusiast who we originally purchased it from. Just a couple of days later a friend of ours stopped in and purchased it before we could photograph and list it for sale

Now this classic is back in the showroom and in nicer condition than when we sold it. Our friend likes his cars to run perfect and to that end he had the engine and transmission gone through completely in August of 2016. All fluids and filters, water pump and spark plugs were replaced along with the addition of an electronic ignition

The car is still powered by the 265 cubic inch small block V8 hooked up to the 2 speed Powerglide transmission. It was restored to be 100% original in appearance and drives like a new 55 Bel-Air
