Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and Repair:
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and performance issues in exotic and classic cars.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the integrity and authenticity of vintage and high-performance vehicles.
  • Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and technical resources to address complex automotive systems and components unique to exotic and classic cars.
• Restoration and Preservation:
  • Participate in the restoration and preservation of vintage and collector cars, including bodywork, painting, upholstery, and mechanical refurbishment.
  • Follow established restoration protocols and techniques to maintain authenticity and historical accuracy while also incorporating modern advancements in automotive technology where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other technicians, craftsmen, and specialists to ensure the highest quality standards are met in every restoration project.
• Performance Upgrades and Customization:
  • Assist customers in enhancing the performance, appearance, and functionality of their exotic and classic cars through aftermarket upgrades and customization.
  • Recommend and install performance modifications, such as engine tuning, exhaust systems, suspension upgrades, and brake enhancements, to optimize vehicle performance and driving dynamics.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their preferences and tailor customizations to their individual tastes and specifications.
• Documentation and Quality Control:
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including diagnostic findings, repair procedures, parts used, and labor hours.
  • Conduct thorough quality control inspections to ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Document restoration processes and procedures to preserve the history and provenance of each vehicle and facilitate future service and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5  years of experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on exotic and classic cars preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of exotic and classic car systems, components, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and specialized machinery common in the automotive industry.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with a passion for automotive history and heritage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Certifications or training from accredited automotive programs or manufacturers (e.g., Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche) is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
